Does MTV manipulate the votes on America's Best Dance Crew?

Question

I thought SoReal Cru should have won last night.. They were never once in the bottom 2. And do you really think all the SoReal Cru fans suddenly changed their minds and voted for Super Cr3w? Last season something was definitely up because Status Quo did not deserve to be in the top 2. Some people are saying they did that because they didn't want two asian crews. But this season there were two asian crews..

What does everyone else think ?

The members of Super Cr3w were latin not asian.

I personally don't believe that it had much to do with them being Asian but how in the heck could Super Crew all of a sudden win the whole show when they were in the bottom 2, three times (in a row, if I'm not mistaken).  The judges should have sent them home when they were up against f***y Pak.  No disrespect to their talent or their craft because they are good but they weren't better than some of the others.  And the judges, mainly Shane Sparks, was the one that kept saving them.  Why does he think they kept getting the lowest amounts of votes.  But we all know that those kind of shows are rigged.  I kind of figured after the judges kept keeping them around time after time after TIME, that they were going to win.  I guess they felt that America always loves a "Comeback Kid" ending.

i really really wished that so real cru won. i agree with you. it just doesn't make sense. so real cru has never been in the bottom, yet they weren't america's best dance crew. the jabbawockees was rooting for super crew.. maybe that had something to do with the voting. :/ it sucks! so real cru had better performances than super crew last week.

i think that so real cru needed the money more than super crew, because they don't have a dance studio to work in. idk.. i'm just very disappointed.

I loved f***y Pack and felt they should have been top 2 with SoReal. I also loved Kaba Modern last year. I'm not sure that the producers are sliding the votes but it surely is a popularity contest that has nothing to do with how good they are that particular week. Jaba definitely deserved to win last year - no one could touch them. Supercr3w was OK. I don't think they should have necessarily won.

Can't wait for season 3.

It's obvious after watching the first season 'cause Jabbawockeez had a perfect run 'til the third to last episode when they threw them and Kaba Modern in the bottom two, that was bull.

Either way, It's kind of bittersweet for me 'cause I was rooting for both Super and SoReal so I was glad. At the same time though, MTV definitely manipulates votes, I heard a couple people say that it was because of the regions but I think MTV is just stupid and unfair.

I definitely agree. SoReal Cru was never in the bottom 2 and as far as I know, they had a huge fan base. The producers probably rigged the votes because they didn't want another asian crew to win. If they did, people would think that asians can win only the championship. I also think Kaba Modern was cheated out of the finals. Status Quo didn't deserve to be in the top 2.
