Does Mahi-Mahi really taste like lobster? If not, what would you compare it to?

It tastes more like swordfish, shark or halibut steaks.  Those are meatier, firmer fish.  Monkfish tastes a little like lobster though

Monkfish, I believe, is what you are thinking about. some places call it poor-man's lobster, but it can be expensive too. Mahi-mahi is a firm textured, Mild though full flavor, and is generally imported previously frozen from Ecudor(Bad spelling, Sorry). Cheers

What I Believe It tastes like Is Not of Importance.

I say most fish cuts of meat are better than chicken

I do not think it tastes like lobster.  It tastes more like sword fish.  It is a firm, mild white fish that goes great with lemon-butter sauces.  I love it.  You should try it!

(It does not taste like beef.)

to me it taste like a firmer fish.Not like lobster at all.Depends on how you cook it to.Whatever seasons you put on your fish your fish will taste like too.

I thought Mahi-Mahi tasted like some kind of beef, if it does, i am willing to try it :)
