  1. I am going to go out on a limb and state that MLK was a phony and a fraud.  His doctorate was plagiarized and he probably never wrote a single speech in his whole life.  I have no interest in the mans work, as I am not black and have not gained a single ounce of anything from his having existed.  He is in fact irrelevant to me.

Bring on the hate; but at least I have the stones to be honest!!

  2. He had a vision, but didn't live long enough to do much about it.

  3. Not anymore.

  4. Dr. King impressed me because he spoke of all people standing together ... not just vindication of one race. He spoke of brothers and sisters together, and of doing your work as if it were the most important job in the world ... I think his vision was for a better world overall, not just better race relations or something politically driven.

  5. I admired him because he spoke up about important issues, when you could literally get yourself killed. He was not a hater and he did not advocate violence. He urged everyone to respect each other as human beings. Today we would be hard pressed to find someone like that.

  6. yes.  Dr. King had a vision and had the leadership to activate others towards his vision.  He became the spokes person for an entire race of people and he worked to make changes peacefully.  He was a great man whose life ended way too young.

  7. what has happened since his death is that the black racists

use him to advance their agenda.

they don't really want equality but rather superiority.

they'll continue to accuse  because the populace has such a guilt complex that we will continue to give their allegations some credence.

as long as we accept their racism we will never be equal.

  8. He was a "visionary" like Ghandi. They wanted change without violence. Most people do. They had courage to try, that's what made both of them special.

  9. Considering that he's dead, I don't think he has what it takes to be an effective visionary leader.
