I don't think he does...

he just says that he does, because most people believe global warming is real, and if he said it wasn't and he didn't care, nobody would vote for him.

  1. He only cares about having his shakey old hand over the nuclear football.

  2. No he doesn’t. I the big picture we are really in big sh** with our current candidates :(.

  3. No, he doesn't really care, he's just putting on an act for the American people, just like Bush did in 2000 and 2004.

  4. No he wants to be president and raise gas prices vote for obama!!!

  5. No, he doesn't care about environmental protection period. And really, who cares whether Global Warming is real or not, we still need to take better care of the planet for our benefit. Remember, we will not destroy the earth, we will destroy ourselves.

  6. I hope not.  It's bad enough to have one Presidential candidate who believes junk science.

  7. Wether he does, or not, we, all of us had better start doing things to lessen the damage we are doing.  If we wait too much longer, it will take thousand of years for the planet to return to a healthy state of being for our children.  All we are doing is talking about it when we should be warned and doing something about it.

  8. no he doesnt and thank god!  i dont believe in global warming because it was proven wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Sure, but it's not important.

This is science and what counts is the data, not people's intuition.

"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”

Vice Admiral Richard H. Truly, USN (Ret.)

    Former NASA Administrator, Shuttle Astronaut

Here are two summaries of the mountain of peer reviewed data that convinced Admiral Truly and the vast majority of the scientific community, short and long.

    summarized at:

There's a lot less controversy about this is the real world than there is on Yahoo answers:

And vastly less controversy in the scientific community than you might guess from the few skeptics talked about here:

EVERY major scientific organization has issued an official statement that this is real, and mostly caused by us.  The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

  10. Well, let's look at what McCain actually supports/does regarding policy:

    >he voted for giving oil companies subsidies last  year.

    >he voted against requiring improved fuel efficiency in cars (which also helps keep us dependent on foreign oil)

    >he wants to hand the oil companies billions in drilling rights (notice he hasn't suggested they have to pay what those rights would be worth?)

    >he does not support alternative energy initiatives--at lest not by voting for any of them.

McCain is just another lying neoconservative just like Bush and Cheney.
