Post-traumatic stress syndrome. He has the major symptoms as a I work daily to evaluate them at the VA. If so his judgement should be in question.

  1. Yes, that's what happens when you become a prisoner of war.

Oh, but that was almost a life-time ago.  Some people have issues that are too hard to let go.

  2. No, but he has a PSP

  3. I always thought it was PTSD? I'm not an expert, but it does seem that five years as a POW would probably give most people PTSD. Certainly the Bush campaign used this as a smear against him in 2000. But since you seem to deal with this every day, I'd actually like to hear your take on this. What are symptoms of PTSD that John McCain possess (or just maybe just list the symptoms altogether)?

  4. p**p

  5. I am somewhat of an expert on this and I have seen nearly every indication that he has it to a pretty severe degree.  I think he actually has MPD as well, not to an extreme but as related to his functioning with the PTSD, where he actually shifts personalities during a conversation depending on what stressors are introduced.

This stuff is not a joke and nearly impossible to control without major work. McCain seems to be very proud of the fact that, even though the VA analysis of him was that he had personality disorders, he has never had any type of talk therapy - which I believe is essential.

Pretty scary to think of what he might do when he is triggered at the wrong time.
