  1. I guess he can chose whatever person her decides to be his VP. However he might just p**s off the ultra conservatives though. But too bad as those puds are always pissed.

  2. John McCain can pick Hilary Clinton for VP. It would show how McCain has such heartfelt committent and concern for those who voted for her.

  3. Considering that many Republicans do not consider McCain a real Republican, if he picks a non-republican as his Veep he is going to be in deep doo doo (to quote former President Bush)

  4. McCain is already not liked by the hard core GOP base.  If he would pick an independent like Leiberman, he would further find himself on the outs with the GOP.  Even the choice of Romney as VP will alienate many Republican faithful.

  5. John McCain can choose anyone eligible to be President.

  6. It better not only be a republican but it better be a conservative republican

or he will lose his base. Personally i would love an independent though

  7. If he wants to win the election, it does.

Otherwise, he can pick anybody else his little heart desires, and come January 21, he'll still be a Senator from Arizona.

The fact is that the majority of Republicans are not exactly enamored of McCain, neither swooning like Obamaniacs nor getting tingles in their pants.

And, frankly, some of us believe that McCain won't run for reelection should he win, and would prefer he choose somebody who could run as the incumbent VP in 2012. That would necessarily mean a Republican and a conservative. That would energize the conservative base.

    Otherwise, I'm voting for NOTA.

    [None Of The Above]
