I live in New York City [Brooklyn] United States of America and they do not charge for ketchup. Why do they where you live?

no in ireland its free, but sweet n sour, bbq and curry is 25c.

i'm in florida, USA. nope, they don't charge for ketchup but when i went to Egypt they charged.

I've never been charged extra for ketchup at McDonald's here in the USA.  The only problem I have is GETTING the ketchup when I ask for it.  I frequently get breakfast at McD's on my way to work.  They don't leave ketchup packets by the napkins and the rest of the condiments to make them easily accessible, you have to ask for them--and they ALWAYS forget.  Who ever orders a hashbrown to go without ketchup?

NO! they do charge i think for dressings like bluecheese or ranch dresing/ most condiments are free, including ketsup mayo and mustard...sugar and sweet and low same too.

In the US they do not charge for a normal serving of any condiment.  Some may charge if you ask for quite a bit extra as this is a real cost for them and they want to avoid waste.
