I am actually insulted by the McCain campaign for thinking that this tactic will work. Just because she is a woman is a ridiculous reason to vote for them. She can not be compared to Hillary Clinton in any way in the experience arena  and I truly believe this is going to backfire on the McCain campaign. I think people can see Joe Biden stepping in to the office of President if something were to happen to Obama, keeping in mind McCain's age and the real possibility of something happening maybe health related to him, can we actually bring ourselves to say that President Palin would be a wise choice.
