Does Medicaid Cover a Full-Time Dependent Student coming from a low-income family?

I live in Missouri btw and I've recently got a letter saying I was drop from my Social Security Benefits, but what about medicaid?

I'm 20 atm.

  1. All states are different.  To be eligable for medicaid you would either have to have children, be over 65(medicare) or be recieving SSDI.  You were receiving Medcaid because of SSDI.  So you might want to presume you do not recieve it.

In Arkansas, a dependent student can stay on medicaid as long as they are in school full time up to a certain age (which is 24, I believe).  You should get a letter stating whether or not your medicaid has been dropped.  Call your local human resource office just to make sure, but you should be able to look at the details under their website.
