My husband just recently lost his job - my kids have already been accepted on Medicaid. I just found out that I am expecting again. I have already been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. My question is : once I am accepted to Medicaid, will it cover all of my insulin and diabetes supplies.

  1. Usually, you would have to go to a pharmacy that accepts medicaid in your state and is for a covered item, service or prescription. Either google your state and medicaid to see if it's listed on their page or contact medicaid in your state to find out. Their contact numbers are either on your card or on their web-site.

  2. It should cover everything. I would talk to your case worker. they could tell you more than I could.

  3. It does cover prescriptions.  What is actually covered depends what state your in.
