  1. not really the only ones there are so-so, not worth the effort

  2. what anyucki?

  3. UHHH, HAHAHAHHA. Peace and Love to all the Teppanyaki's out there.

  4. I have been to a number of ones but the one that I keep going back to is Sakata Japanese Restaurant in East Burwood where the 24hr Kmart is. I've only ever gone on a Saturday night and all the chefs there are great fun! Prices are pretty reasonable (starting at $35 I think) and food is tasty.

The chef cook on the hot plate in front of you and they involve the customers while they are cooking. At Sakata, the chef usually flicks the egg into your open mouth (though I have seen it go into hair, noses, eyes!!) and then gets you to catch the rice bowl in the bowl in your hands. I've also seen crazy stuff like making someone stand a few feet away and catch the rice bowl there!

Make sure you go with a group of people - the more the merrier. Even if it is only 2 of you, you'll have fun looking at the other tables!

  5. Found a great one in Glen Waverley in the Novotel complex. Can't remember the name sorry, but the seafood and beef was excellent. Wine list good, chefs were great too

  6. dont know any in melbourne, sad i know :P
