I know this is long but bare with me, before my classes start on August 28th, 2008, I want to try to increase my energy capacity. I fall asleep at times in class, or lose focus...thus resulting in lower grades, and a crummier GPA. I already did my fair share of research and here is what I have so far:

- As a snack/lunch I will pack, a Protein bar with 2 fruits and sandwich (with cheese and either Roast beef, Ham, Bologna, Turkey, Chicken, OR beef). hence, my classes are from 9 in the morning to 8 at night with good breaks in between.

- 8 hours of sleep, TV off, computer off, lights off by 10, shower, and read a quick chapter of a book and be at bed sleeping by at least 10 to about 10:30 p.m.

Now here's when "Men's One-A-Day" comes into play....will this product help me throughout my day to prevent falling asleep? and yes I eat a nice big breakfast...and I eat balance meals, with plenty of water (if not actually more)....and yes I do get enough exercise as well.

  1. The one a day is generally used to supplement certain vitamins and minerals that you know you not getting in your diet. So with that thought, what you've done by taking one is come up to the recommended standard of those vitamins and minerals....knowing that...it doesn't appear that that will do what you desire...it's not a stimulant. If you missing a good breakfast that might be the reason your sleepy by 10 a m. Another item people overlook is proper hydration...without enough water in your system the blood will seek it out from internal parts of the body. If the blood has to search for water it will lead to a you feeling like you're about to fall out on you feet...It's the single most important item you can take..On the medic unit we often come across elderly patients who haven't had any water to drink in three days or so...event though it's right there for them...they say they're not thirsty....weak excuse. you body needs a constant supply of water. I'd bet if you increase your intake to at least a gallon a day taken all throughout the day you'll notice a difference....don't forget breakfast, you need it...
