Does Mexico Have The Same Power Outlets?

Question

I need to know this in order to charge various objects which I plug into my wall at home, in the US. DOes the Yucatan Peninsula and popular tourist areas in that region such as Playa del Carmen and Cancún have the same power outlets as in the United States?

lol yeah they have the same power outlets ....and as for the different ones I think it only applies to Europe

The outlets are the same, however, you may need a three prong adapter.  Many of the outlets in Mexico do not accept three prong plugs.  The adapters are readily available in Mexico but if you are going on vacation I suggest you take one or two adapters with you.  I am talking about the orange adapter that accepts three prong plugs but has two prongs for the outlet.
