Does Mighty Putty work?!?!?!?

Does that lame mighty putty on TV work? i doubt it but i just want to make sure and see what u think.

well the stuff on tv usually never works like it does in real life.  but ou do get 6 sticks for 19.99, and that guy also promotes oxyclean which was actually a good product.

If you don't need six sticks go to your local hardware store and buy one stick of plumber's epoxy putty.

I am very skeptical of the product.  It may work for the short term but not for a long term.

I would replace the faulty components.

Not as well as they claim but for smaller jobs,yes.

It's just epoxy resin.

Consumer Reports did a quick test of this product in the August 2008 issue (page 9) and in link below.

Their take?  Works moderately well but expensive, especially after factoring in the shipping.  Other products worked as well or better and cost less (and you don't have to wait 3 weeks to get it like they did).
