Question:

Does Missouri QB Chase Daniel have an NFL future?

He's got a strong, accurate arm, and he is very mobile and is a very dangerous runner.

Cons: He's a little short at 6-0, 5-11, and he plays in the Spread Offense at Missouri.

Bonus question: Will Chase Daniel win the Heisman this season?

  1. Chase Daniel is 5'10" with his cleats on. Although I love his toughness, I don't think he has much of a future in the NFL. Prolific passers in collage do not always translate into great NFL QB's. Just ask Jared Zabransky from Boise State, who Daniel reminds me alot of, or any of the last 3 Texas Tech QBs.

He is certainly in the top 5 Heisman candidates, but not if Tebow from Florida has another great year. Unfortunately, the Heisman is now driven by the media (ABC and ESPN) and they LOVE Tebow.

  2. He reminds me of Drew Brees.  Yes, definitely a chance to play in the NFL (Probably drafted in middle rounds depending on how he performs this year)

    Heisman: Nope

  3. i'de say he has a legitimate chance of making it. he is short. but speed never hurts. and you have to have a pretty strong arm. so i say yeah. probably in the middle of the draft.

BQ: He could. But you got to remember tebow is still playing, but i say hes got a chance

  4. Maybe A 3rd rounder.

  5. Go Mizzou!

He will have a great season but he's not Heisman material.  The way I see him is that he is pretty good in all areas and all things that quarterbacks do. And he plays good under pressure. He has confidence and he's a good leader. But he's not great. I believe he could be a pro starter, but unfortunatly it won't happen.  They put too much emphasis on height. I mean thats one down side compared to all the good things he does. Is it possible his numbers were so good last year because he had so many weapons to work with and good protection?  I think Jeremy Maclin has a better chance at winning the Heisman than Chase Daniels. Maclin can't be stopped at the college level.

  6. h**l yeah hes got a shot man drew brees is bout 6" or 6.1" and hes a killer on the field but sometimes that spread can get you in trouble in the nfl so idk but i think hes got a good shot but tebow is gonna b good in the nfl 2

  7. i think that after a year or two of seasoning in the nfl he could make an impact on an nfl team.. i think it would be premature to expect him to come straight out of college and start for an nfl team though.. but he is a good competitor and has a strong arm..
