Yes it can, as well as thicken your blood. Unless you already have hypertension problems it shouldnt be an issue.

I dont know but if your worried about high blood pressure take capsules of cayenne pepper daily.It has been a life saver to my mother and basically my whole family for the last 30 years since we discovered it.My Mom had high blood pressure and a ministroke.Get the book curing with cayenne by Sam Bizer if its still in print.Our copy has been read to death.
