We need a Cheap truck that gets more then 18 miles a Gl.

We will trade this truck in if we can.

not many trucks get better, my Toyota Tacoma w/ a V-6 gets that.

I'd let my fingers do the driving, there are a lot of stores aching to sell trucks, The base Silverado as well as the Tacoma get mileage in that range. If you have decent credit they are looking for you, if not well give it a shot.
