  1. I agree with all the above she is relaxed around you...so that would be a good thing.

  2. aww relaxed pony =) .....(i use pony as a term of endearment..even to my 17.3 baby)

other people may also have a more controlling vibe when they lead her. she sounds like the type of horse that really needs the soft but firm touch...and apparently you have it!

    Good luck with her!

  3. Yes, it does. You should try to bond with her more though, so she will like you from early on. Although she likes you, she may still be tough at times, so if she ever jerks on the lead while you're leading her, don't be discouraged!

Good luck with your new horse!

  4. no if she puts her head up high, this means she isn't used to something or she is nervous or scared, but if and when you lead her out and her head is down low and her eyes are droopy, she feels comfortable and relaxed around you!  :) good thing

  5. She is happy and relaxed around you

  6. It sounds like she is comfortable with you. When a horse's head comes up, it generally means she is worried about something. Good luck with your new horse. Move quietly and with confidence and she will appreciate it .
