Does NASA launch artifacts into space alot

true, nasa does launch space crafts into space to collect artifacts. OBVIOUSLY.

But nasa has also been known to launch earth artifacts into space.. Why? I dont know. But they do.

Artifact: something created by humans, usually for a practical purpose.

Yes, NASA launches quite a few of those. Several million per launch, in fact. As for why, well, it's been found that naturally-occurring objects like trees and rocks don't fly well, and don't perform the required functions.

i dont think its alot so much as its for long periods of time ause i dont think they launch till there first missions complete.
