  1. what would you get an exception from...turning left?

  2. What exceptions are you talking about?  Does anyone else not "get" this question???

Morgan Shepard races.  He has no big sponsor except "Racing with Jesus" on his hood. Of course he also doesn't have much $$$ for the best cars so he usually doesn't get to finish a race or he is many laps down.

Joe Gibbs is a religious man and he wouldn't take in Jr. if Budweiser came with him.  Junior went with hendricks and Bud didn't go with him anyway.

Let's see...oh then there is the Innvocation before each race.    AND there are drivers and crew who bow their head in prayer before the race.

Dale Sr. had little bits of Scripture taped to his dash.  As do kyle Petty and a few others.

Um...well thats it I guess.  Still don't understand the question but this is about all I know  about religion in NASCAR.

  3. What?

  4. I don't think so,

I mean I don't see why they would.

  5. I would think if your religious convictions conflicted with NASCAR, it would depend on your level of devotion, and where your passion lies.  NASCAR doesn't make exception.

    Go Jr.>>>>

  6. no they wouldn't because like Brittney said they say a prayer before racing  all the time. and sometimes they race on a saturday night.

    thats only Christians tho.

what about juan pablo montoya i dont think hes Christian?

a question inside a question lol

  7. Amish are allowed to hitch 700 horses up to a stock buggy. Sikhs don't have to wear helmets over their turbans.

  8. You mean worship NASCAR? Meh... sounds like any other religion to me; dumb. JMO.

  9. What are you talking about? What exceptions would you have to make for nascar just by being religious?

Ha. Maybe you could leave some more details.

aha, okay I just figured out you meant by racing on a sunday. ;]

If it makes you feel any better they say a prayer.

  10. Sure...!!!

Mennonites get to use the plain hubcaps so as not to betray God by using those expensive fancy looking racing wheels. They don't have to have sponsors because that may be considered idol worshiping. If one gets fined then NASCAR allows them to all pitch in and pay the fines.

    I'm sure there are more.
