Does NY Chinatown Canal Street still sell those replica handbag? Or anywhere else in NY?

The gov shut those down on Canal Street like in May 2008. Did anyone go recently and still able to buy those replica?

all you have to do is go for a walk in the city.  start with canal then if that doesnt fit your fancy... there are usually people pitching in other places.  broadway around the upper 20s always seem to be buzzing with something.  

i say make a day out of it (if you don't live in the city) and go for a cruise downtown, then jump on an uptown N,Q,R,W,4,5,6, etc, hop out at Union Square, give the place a look, cruise up Broadway and do the same.  Mix in a few drinks, some good eats, and a friend to enjoy the mission with and you have yourself a nice day.  If you don't find the bag... s***w it!  You'll find yourself having a blast at least.  

I have a feeling you'll land the bag you seek on Canal or Broadway though.

Yep, I was just there yesterday and it was extremely crowded and everyone was in business. If you want the really good stuff (fake of course), let them know what you're looking for. Most of the time it's hidden in a back room. Have fun.....
