Does Neosporin repair scars left by damaged pimple?

while i was washing my face, it made a injury on my pimple and the bacteria spread all around the area. Soon i will have my picture taken and i don't want to see my damage «skin» on the photo. neosporin is supposed to repair cut, does it repair scar and the injury that i have a while ago :)

  2. Sorry, but no it doesn't. If you have acne bad or not so bad I would recomMend you use Proactive. I promice you that it works really well. I was always afraid of getting my pictures taken and going to school with rashes on my face... I hope this helps you out, and sorry if it doesn't... I hope you find your cure

  3. No, Neosporin will not help the scar tissue fade or go away. There is an ointment called Mederma that you use once a day. It will make the scar fade. Depending on your skin type and gentetics, the scar may go away, or it may be very very unnoticible.

  4. No. Neosporin just disinfects. A scar is made of scar tissue and can become less visable with a scar seirum. You can never fully get rid of a scar, only time and scar medication can fade it. Until then, use lots of coverup and put bandaids over all future pimples to prevent this event from reoccuring
