Does New Zealand have alot of need for architects?

I'm an architecture student in America, and I'm considering about getting a Master's Degree in a foreign country: either New Zealand or Australia. Thank you for your answers! =)

I disagree with the others, we have plenty of architects thanks & they struggle to find work.  Also a foreigner would have less understanding of what we're about.  I think you'll find the same in Australia.  Jobs like architecture ones are seen as cool & creative & are sought after by the locals & are more likely to be given to a local.

Most architects are self employed due to lack of work.

And our Government are only wanting immigrants to fill job shortages, we have shortages in areas like IT, not architecture.

NZ has far superior architects than Australia.

Builder will find more work as compared to an architect in NZ. Most of the architects here are struggling to find a job with a decent annual package as compared to Australia. My brother is an architect who recently moved to Delhi - India and he's making more money there as compared to what he was making here.
