He Voted AGAINST 'no offer of “good time” for s*x offenders sentenced' to the County Jail.

Obama was the only vote against this measure

I cant believe he wants these people walking the streets. Better than 9 of 10 s*x offenders repeat their crimes.

Do you realize what a s*x offender is in today's world? A man drunken man that slaps a girls *** is a s*x offender, somebody that sleeps with a willing secretary is a s*x offender. Do you really think that hurting someone sexually compares to the other possible crimes out there?

the law is a funny thing... with many rules...

often times, what seems like a good idea... doesn't really work out well in legal terms... and only ends up losing the state millions of dollars in lawsuits that are lost...

I seriously doubt he likes s*x offenders... but there are other issues at stake here than what is only on the surface...

I disagree with the first part.  However, I disagree more with a variety of McCain's votes.

Regarding the nanny net in schools, the NYC BOE has one.  They're a huge problem.  I couldn't access major news mediums for lessons because they have sports and entertainment sections and have an article about breast cancer, but they still managed to find p**n during lunch hours in the computer room.

Not all s*x-offenders are the same.  And prisons do need the "good time" carrot to dangle in front of prisoners to keep them in line.

But liberals are also often of the mindset that s*x offenders aren't really that bad as much as they are ill & need help.  I don;t know for certain if Obama is one of these kinds of liberals.

Your second example may be a better example of his wishy-washiness on pretecting our kids.  Or it could be there is more to that story than you know.

But I am opposed to Obama on so many other levels.

yes, he wants them out of prisons and stop warehousing them and put them to work. he is considering some industrial solutions like reinsitution some experimental plantations on the Mississippi to raise cotton and corn. state sponsored farms to raise organic food and fabrics. a new, wholesome loving kind of life where they can start over in the great outdoors.

A liberally progressive Pol, doesn't believe that sexual material of any kind is harmful. Putting information out there no matter how it is presented is the right and just thing to do according to them. Sexual promiscuity is a right of passage and should not be inhibited in any form, after all "they will do it anyway!" Yet we are horrified anytime we hear a sexual predator abduct a child who was talking sexually with a presumed peer.

You can't protect your children if your allowing them free reign into a world filled with predators by throwing them into a den of iniquity.
