Obama stated on 08/28/08, "America our work will not be easy. The challenges we face require tough choices, and Democrats as well as Republicans will need to cast off the worn-out ideas and policies of the past." Does Obama know how to twist with the best of them?

However, it seems that there is very little evidence that Senator Obama takes positions that challenge the base. He seems to play it safe politically by voting with his party 97% of the time.

  1. "However, it seems that there is very little evidence that Senator Obama takes positions that challenge the base. He seems to play it safe politically by voting with his party 97% of the time."

That sounds like a "sound bite" from Obama's nomination speech:

"McCain has voted with George W. Bush 90% of the times. Senator McCain likes to talk about judgment. What does that say about Senator McCain's judgment, to think that Bush is correct 90% of the time?"

    Addendum:

This is why I honestly hate American policits.  Presidental candidates  are so desperate to win that they'll go to great lenghts at discrediting one another.  Propaganda, muckraking, character attacks, digging up the past; it's dirty politics.  McCain, Obama, Hillary; all dirty politics.

  2. Throughout Baracks voting history as a US Senator and as a Ill, state

Senator. He has voted Present or voted his party. He has never took

a stand against his party. O don't find his rhetoric overly encouraging

about his willingness to work with both sides. He has never done it

in the past and has no reason to do it in the future. He will be just

another dem on another day, doing the same thing Nothing.

  3. No.

Is Obama saying protecting America from terrorism is worn out? Those are our policies. Nobody knows that better than the Military men, and woman who fight the war on terrorism. Oh yeah, wait, Obama doesn't like them either. He refused to visit the injured troops, but went on a European campaign to tell Germans about "change" again, just like Hitler did.

If I were a Soldier, I would want to kisck his stupid azz, not take his orders to kill my country!

I want to kick his dumb-azz anyway.

  4. look at the state that we're in now and you guys want to vote mccain bush in again !!!

  5. obama has never done anything worthwhile.  I doubt that he could get a job at a fast food joint.

  6. Obama is a very smart person but he always plays it safe. He speaks of bi-partisanship but his voting record is completely liberal. He is saying the right things to attract the independent voters but all is actions simply play to base of voters that seemed to behave like angry victims.

The only candidate that has effectively reached across the isle is MCcain. I belive he will be a great President if he wins. Therefore we need to look at each man action not just their words.

  7. No!
