Is Obama really going to make home owners pay capital gains on houses they have lived in more than two years?

  1. Obama is only interested in closing the loophole that allowed billionaires in some investment business to pay a lower rate of tax than a person who makes 20,000 a year.

If you are a billionaire then you should have a problem with Obama, but otherwise it won't affect you.

  2. He has no intention of removing that tax rate which Bill Clinton passed because it mostly helps middle class taxpayers whose homes have appreciated.

He intends to let the 15% capital gains rate expire in 2 years which will go back to 28%.  Even Warran Buffet is in favor of that, he pays a lower tax rate than most Americans.

  3. NO it's not a good idea, but Osama has to figure out some way to pay for the 8 TRILLION dollars worth of giveaways he's promising all the po folk who's lining up to vote for him!

  4. noo wayy

  5. 28% thats from his site

also, this is taken from his site...

"Small business's will be required by law to provide full health care coverage for their employees." Small Business's insist of a company that has 1 to 250 employees. The federal government shall upon reviewing the company, rebate as much as 10% to the business owner for its paying for  100% of its employees health care. Said business will be fined up to 25,000 dollars for not providing health care coverage."

That was taken directly from his website.

so even if you only have ONE employee, you WILL pay his healthcare.

can you say goodbye to most small business's?

  6. he cant. he doesn't know what it is

  7. he wants to take a big chunk out of home equity and put in social welfare programs to help troubled youth who get in prison or have illegitimate children. that is about all he seems to have in mind. he thinks the prisons are full of trouble youth in the prisons.
