  1. If he has any sense, neither.

Al Sharpton alienates white people.  Bill Cosby is coming across more and more like a sellout.

Being willing to work in society to make something of yourself is a good message; in fact, both Martin Luther King, Jr. (peace) and Malcolm X (militant) promoted that black people must work to bring themselves out of their subjugation of the time (that still does exist in many ways today, though not as bad as back then).

And Bill Cosby is a proponent of that message.  But Bill Cosby is more and more for abandoning black culture altogether.  He has been more and more for everyone acting "white" in every way; not just in the "good" ways.

And that is beginning to alienate many black people.

Obama is attempting to be one of the ones who is trying to bridge the gap between both "white" and "black" ideologies.  To connect them, and in many ways combine them.

Going with either Bill Cosby or Al Sharpton would only really serve to limit his ability to do that.

  2. i am sure that it would be closer to Al Sharpton than Bill Cosby. Or Morgan Freeman for that reason
