To make the everyone equal. After reading some articles. It's real scary to see the comparison of the two.

  1. Most definitely! I didn't expect anything different from Obama though.

  2. I think Obama is telling us what he believes we want to hear.  Equality is an ideal that all of us would like to believe is possible even though we know that to make it a reality is virtually impossible.

That said, allow me to rephrase your question so it is written correctly.

Do Obama's promises mimic Lenin's in terms of wanting to make everyone equal?  After reading several articles comparing these two men, it's scary to see how similar their promises seem to be.  I'd be interested to know what other people think about this.

See?  Much better.  Same exact question only well written so no one has to wonder why 7 years olds are on this forum.  I've also added that last sentence to prompt people to respond.  Otherwise, the post is nothing more than a statement of opinion when this forum is called Yahoo ANSWERS not Yahoo OPINIONS.

  3. He's definitely headed in the same direction that the Bolsheviks wanted to go.  They called themselves Social Democrats, btw.  They tried to turn Russia into what they thought would be a utopia of enforced social equality.  They harder they tried, however, the worse it failed and the more they had to crack down on the population.  Communism drove the Bolsheviks crazy in a sense, trying to make their fundimentally flawed ideology work.  In the end, a totalitarian state is all they could accomplish.

  4. Very much so.

  5. Sounds very much the same. God Bless and protect America!

  6. Eh, yea.  This should not come as a surprise.
