  1. I used to be a supporter of PETA until I found out that they were killing animals.  They have done "terroristic" things.  Bombing buildings, setting fires, etc.

They have done a lot of good educating people on the importance of a veg/vegan diet and cruelty to animals, but I can't support an organization that does those types of things. So, to answer your question, I suppose they could be considered as one, yes.

  2. They don't officially support terrorists activities, but like other's have said, many of their members have engaged in terrorists type activities.

Many of the ideas they officially support, like that blind people shouldn't use guide dogs, keep me from ever supporting them.

  3. They most certainly do!

All that from a simple google search of "Peta terrorists".

  4. PETA are full of propoganda. I heard they euthanize animals that they take into their care. Yeah because that's what an animal loving charity does. I don't support them but I think you could have been a bit more tactful and not asked this in this category, not every vegetarian supports PETA.

  5. PETA supports organizations such as the ALF which inflict economic harm on organizations which torture animals, and as such are labelled as "terrorists" by those who have an economic interest in these organizations. Animal rights activists harm no one, unlike those who torture animals. Samuel Adams and Martin Luther King, Jr were labelled as terrorists as well. You'll find that progressive social change NEVER is brought upon by protesting in ways that are SANCTIONED.

  6. Obviously, an organization such as PETA would never intentionally support terroristic organizations. But, I'm sure everybody and every organization at some point has been unintentionally supportive of terrorism in one form or another.

  7. PETA is evil, they give a black eye to the cause.

BTW: It's good the people giving my answer a thumbs down don't know where I live. :-P

  8. No. PETA is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization. If the rumors about PETA were actually true, PETA would lose its tax-exempt status.

The animal-abusing industries are very, very scared of the progress that organizations like PETA are making. These industries and their spokespeople will say anything they can to encourage people not to support PETA.

  9. There are members of PETA who are domestic terrorists. Some members have bombed/burned animal testing labs, etc.

However, PETA does not officially endorse these acts.

  10. PETA itself is not a terroist organizations and doesnt officially endorse terroist activities.

  11. Anyone who has proof of this should report PETA to the authorities.

If you know of a terrorist act and fail to report it you are complicit to a terrorist act and liabel to a visit by the CIA at 3AM one morning

So, if you have proof, please report it, if not, its just hearsay really.

  12. PETA sounds like what groups that are classified as terrorist organizations say. Like Hamas:  There are members that choose to participate in terrorist actions, but we don't officially sanction any.

  13. I know that sometimes when people go out of leather/fur stores and get clothing, then Peta will dump red paint on them.
