Question:

Does PTSD cover a lot of ground?

Since a person was called a profane name, she was diagnosed with PTSD. Another example, in most recent news, a flight attendant suffered PTSD for having to clean a small spill in a first class airline flight, at the same time saying she was humiliated by the passenger.

In these turn of events, I have decided to change my diagnosis from "wartime" PTSD to despression and anxiety attacks (not to mention physical injuries). I think I would go as far to label myself with the ole' WWI "shellshock" rather than to be lumped in with these poor people who suffer such drastic PTSD at the drop of a hat.

Can those who relate, with their own traumatic sufferings, want to be lumped in with these people. The DAV must separate us from these people, or at least lump them together with those of true traumatic experiences, military or civilian, by people who have truly suffered, and continue to do so. People now use this case for nothing more then court cases and the dream of a large monetary settlement.

Address this issue Congress as you sit on your fat asses spending our money.

This is not to offend. It is the truth.

Does anyone agree?
