Palin believes even if you're horribly raped,that you, your daughter, or sister must have that rapist's child. 9 months of sickness, days of labor life risking labor to and memories of rape everyday.

I'm an Obama supporter and would never join such a group because I don't want the government or some group of sanctimonious women to dictate what happens with my body.

Having said that, my rapist's child is now my precious five year old youngest son and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Not telling anyone else what to do but life can give hope.

I just don't think rape or abortion are key issues in this campaign. It's the war and the economy. If they can stay on that, everything else will progress in the interim.

Yes....she doesn't want women to have a choice  - PERIOD!  Even though her daughter DECIDED to sleep with a guy and have unprotected s*x out of wedlock....if a girl doesn't agree and gets pregnant, she would be coerced to give birth to the child.  Now..if that's not a horrible message....let me decide for my daughter but take away any decision you want to make for your own!  I don't think so...it appears that she needs to pay more attention to her own household..maybe she can keep her other daughter from having children outside of wedlock and worry less about trying to stop GROWN women from having abortions (and other mothers from making the decision for their daughters).

The victim of a rape suffers with the memories of the actual rape every day, true. But she's not going to keep they baby. If she puts it up for adoption, she doesn't have to look at half of her rapist every day.

It's basically the same thing as an abortion that takes nine months to carry out- only without the selfish murder.

Republicans do not have empathy -can not seem to walk in another persons shoes so to speak . Palins daughter is Lucky that she has a supportive family. Many woman are not so lucky -if a child can be raised in a good Christian home with Christian values -then how is it that even their young woman make these mistakes ?

As a voting Democrat I will vote for mercy and compassion toward all young woman who make that mistake.

I believe that God gives us freedom of choice -and a woman has that freedom right or wrong . I believe that we are all sinners and should not throw stones. I would rather see a young woman receive all the help she can get then make a choice of abortion -but that is still her God given free choice. Soldiers end up killing babies and children as well. considering there is a morning after pill that can be taken up to 72 hours if you are raped you go to the hospital and get it from the doctor.It prevents pregnancy from even starting.
