Does Palin present a problem for McCain's pork barrel argument?

She blatantly denied her original support for it in her speech over the weekend:

"I have championed reform to end the abuses of earmark spending by Congress," Palin said in her vice presidential campaign debut in Dayton, Ohio. "In fact, I told Congress, I told Congress 'thanks but no thanks' on that Bridge to Nowhere."

  1. You mean to tell me she changed her mind?  My goodness, no one else has done that!

  2. She will do fine, look how scared she has made you and other Dems so far. Making up excuses about her baby and trying to show she is the same as Biden, Obama and the rest of the Congress. She is new and a breath of fresh air. Anyone that pushes through a bill to reduce their own PAYRATE is exactly what we need in Congress.

  3. RECKLESS, IRRESPONSIBLE It makes me mad that he chose someone who could step from a one and a half year term as Alaska's governor to be the person who would take over as president if he were incapacitated. This is a job for someone with great experience, not for someone who has just got their feet wet. It is a stupid choice that lacks judgement, and that is what we expect from Senator McCain, BAD JUDGEMENT--- A Victory for OBAMA!!!!

  4. Sort of like Obama claiming he has been right about Iraq and troop withdrawls all along.

Now that the US is in postion to withdraw troops, Obama claims that McCain is now folliwng Obama's plan.

  5. That disgusting anti-woman w***e presents a problem in every way.

  6. A convenient Flip-Flop as soon as she was picked for VP. Did she refuse the money anytime before she was picked? NO!!!

It is amazing just how far McCain and now Palin will go in their lies to win this election.

John McCain wrote in his book that he really wanted to be President. He is doing anything to get there, even committing us to 100 years in Iraq if he thinks it will win him votes.
