Question:

Does Patchperfect grass last more than one growing season?

I planted Patchperfect and it looks great. Someone told myhusband it dies over the winter- is that true?

  1. The seed in it is supposed to be the following:

    Evening Shade Perennial Ryegrass 12.33%

    FA-155 Tall fescue 12.21%

    Baron Kentucky Bluegrass 1.41%

    Boreal Fine Fescue 1.39%

    Other crop seed .87%

    These are perennial grasses, therefore, they SHOULD survive the winter. I say should because it will really depend upon where you live. Here in my CT home the Bluegrass does not do well for me, for instance.

  2. you have done better than most folks.... the biggest complaint I've heard about it is that there's not much there for the cost... and also that if you have a complaint, the company doesn't know you, won't answer you and thereby is pretty lousy.... the premise on this seed is good... the fertilizer coating is a nice idea... but you can get the same results with a little seeding fertizier and seed you buy yourself for a lot less ....
