  1. Peru uses kilometers and everything with the SI system of Units, just like Europe.


  2. The US is the only consequential country in the world that does not use metric units on a regular basis. In a few English speaking areas like the UK and Canada there is still a memory of non-metric measures, but everywhere outside the US uses kilometers, meters, degrees Celsius, etc. for virtually all purposes.
