Question:

Does Plan B make you bleed?

I took Plan B on the 23rd (the 2nd dose I didn't take at exactly 12 hours because I overslept). I haven't bled at all. I didn't really have any side effects from the pill but today I suddenly began getting really nasty back pain, and began throwing up. Very unusual for me. I don't think I'll be bleeding anytime soon. My last period was on the 2nd of August. I had semi-bareback s*x on the 19th-21st (he put a condom on before cumming), but I had s*x on the 23rd and the condom slipped off inside of me and I took the pill 4 hours later.

Should I even worry? I highly doubt I'm pregnant but the random back pain and throwing up is annoying.

  1. Most women don't bleed after taking Plan B. It is normal if you do, but most don't. It sounds like you're very low risk for pregnancy, although you did compromise the Plan B's efficiency by taking the second pill late. To be sure, take a pregnancy test if you miss your next period.

Your back pain and vomiting sound unrelated, because this is all happening five days after taking the pills. The only side effects you might still experience at this point is an early or late period.

    Good luck.
