Does Poland use Zlottis or Euros these days?

Question

A friend of mine swears they use euros, but I thought it was zlottis?

please help!

We use Złoty and Grosz - 1 Złoty is 100 Grosz.

Zlotys, but in major supermarkets you can pay with Euros.

we use Złoty but in 2012 we will have Euro(that what I heard)

not not yet. they're going to go to euros in 2012.

i hate it. now everythings going to be expensive there.

Well actually both - right now the currency used for everyday purchases is Zloty but banks use Euros, in larger towns you can use Euros for purchases too.  In a few years the government to transfer to euros.

Just got back from Poland, the Zloty is their currency!
