Does Puma make good running shoes?

I want to buy some running shoes and puma seems in my price range, do they have any reputation one way or the other on the quality of their running shoes?

it depends on the type of foot you have, go to a running specialty store they are acctually helpful when it comes to shoes, and they will get you shoes to try on for the type of foot that you have.

i personally like the shoes i have now-- which are made by asics and they are the 2130s

do not run in pumas... they may feel ok at first but they will cause injury later.

puma does not make a shoe for "runners"

puma makes a sporty looking shoe that they say is for running

their design and quality is not made to comfort your foot for miles and miles of pounding.

I run track in high school at the varsity level, seeing Puma running shoes is very rare. Try New Balance, Asics or Nike, they are all popular brands among track athletes.

when it comes to running shoes you have to choose the shoe that FITS YOU, not the one that fits you friend, or the cheap one. if you have the wrong shoe you are going to cause injuries, such as shin splints, and maybe stress fractures due to the pounding. go to a running store and let them take a look at your feet. you might need more support, than other people, or more balance. remember, you have to find YOUR shoe. puma might have it, or may not.
