Does Putting milk in your eyes really help u see underwater?

Ok i was looking at Youtube mermaid videos just being curious when i stumbled upon this video. The video was filming this girl but she had a mermaid tail on. Then somewon commented saying this:

I really love hannah fraser but that tail is fake and besides we know that all the tails in all the videos may seem realistic but fake!

Oh and for those that think that she cant see in the water ur wrong!! The way she sees is by putting milk in her eyes i have tries it once when i was swimming with my own tail. u guys should try it!!

  1. I am not sure about helping you see underwater, but water polo players put milk in their eyes after swimming if their eyes sting from chlorine or salt water.


  2. Yeah polo players put it in their eyes to get rid of the burn.  It doesn't help you see in the water though....

  3. I am a water polo player and we use milk after we get red eyes from the chlorine, it neutralizes the acid so your eyes dont burn. You can see under water it just is blurry

  4. oh my freaking God! Thats crazy!!! LOL! never heard that one before. But listen... I don't recommend you try that... It doesn't sound safe at all...

    By the way, the video is beautiful!! I love mermaids :) they make me happy lol
