  1. Yes he have, he's now even better than Heidfeld.

  2. a great future if he does move i hope its mclaren coz 2 talented drivers = a successful team and season

  3. He has put himself in a very strong position with his performances.

If BMW want to keep him they have to produce a winning car for next year and also pay him handsomely.

Still, it's not in their style to do so (I'm talking about the money), in BMW they believe it's a team effort and not down to a single individual, so they want competent, hard working and compliant drivers, not overpaid athletes.

And they're probably right, history in F1 shows that you absolutely need to have the right equipment to win the championship and that does not depend on the driver but the whole structure of the team.

They will not give him anything like the best offer to stay with them.

  4. Of course! Kubica has the ambition to win races and he knows how to get the position he wants....

He is the man who is giving BMW the points and it is him, not Heifield, who is gaining the podium finishes - Good luck Kubica!

  5. Robert kubica is really performing fabulously. if he drives a Ferrari or Mclaren... he'll have wonderful career. I've read somewhere that Mclaren is interested in kubica for next season. it is really good. only Hamilton is doing well for Mclaren. so it would be nice if he moves to ferrari or Mclaren since they are the leaders of the sport and BMW lacks it.

  6. He's one of the top drivers on the grid right now and he's consistent enough to keep BMW third in the constructors championship.   I think the question is "Will BMW be able to keep Kubica"  because the way he's driving lately, he's definitely in high demand.

  7. He´s a good driver and will be snapped up by a bigger team next year;I'm not saying Williams isn't a big team, but they are not going forward enough at the moment,

  8. Of course he does!! Its Nick Heidfeld who should be looking over his shoulder should BMW's title ambitions become more attainable...

  9. Yeah, he's doing a pretty solid job so he definitely has. If they're smart, they'd hold on to him.

  10. I think the question should be: Can Kubica expect a shining future if he stays in BMW? My answer is no. Lame team. They'll need at least another season to even hope to match Ferrari. I think he needs to go to Ferrari, and definitely not to McLoser, especially after that nose comment, and the spy scandals, and the fact that McLaren is a dumbass redneck.

BMW is still unready, and they still seem to be ditzes about mechanics and decisions; Koobz had to scream at his pit crew to let him into the pits two laps early. Had he not done so, he would've ended-up in third. Bet they're glad they listened!

On top of that, BMW really always wanted a superior German driver. Too bad if this doesn't sound pc or whatever. They're beginning to realize that you can't make a better German driver if the non-German is that much more ambitious, and better. Oh well. It's a pointless waste of time if Kubica stays in BMW, he needs to go to a better team.

  11. Well BMW are idiots if they are willing to let go of him. I certainly believe that he can win his first race this season, but I think he's going to have to wait to have a shot at winning the championship.

Ferrari will without a doubt be interested in signing him, because Raikkonen has said that he will only race in Formula 1 as long as he has fun (thats why i'm glad he won last year). He said he will quit when he no longer enjoys it, but I still think Ferrari will keep hold of him for as long as possible.

As for McLaren, I think they would certainly consider Kubica, but only if Hamilton left which is unlikely, because Kubica would never be happy being the No.2 driver, and McLaren are never going to ditch their Golden Boy are they?

Oh and I think its a little unfair on Kovalainen to everybody who said he's underperforming. He is certainly one of the most luckless people this season, and his confidence is undermined by Ron Dennis who told him that he was the number two driver for McLaren. I believe he does have the potential to win the championship, but has been told to back off. He kept Kimi Raikkonen at bay to scrape a point at the Monaco grand prix, despite the fact that Kimi was setting fastest laps behind him.

  12. i think that the question should be reversed.

Does BMW have a future with Kubica?

Robert Kubica is consistently very fast and determined, and an asset to any team. I get the distinct impression that good though the BMW is, Kubica is actually better than what the car can currently deliver in terms of performance and outright wins.

  13. He definatley has a bright future in F1, if he moves from BMW ( hope not) it will only be to move to Ferrari or Mclaren.

  14. Yes of course. Not just with the team but in F1 as well. He's doing really well, consistently at he front always giving the frontrunners a run for their money. I believe he'll be able to do well and improve. Who knows, he could be the torch bearer of F1 in the coming years

  15. He IS the future of the BMW team! They should lock him into a watertight contract (if they haven't already).

I'll bet good money that Ferrari, McLaren and Renault are checking out his contractual obligations to BMW.

I'm a big fan, he has the best nose in F1!!

  16. Julian is spot on. they would be fools to let him go. I think he'll definitely still be there next year, after that then he will have to decide what is best for him. I think he could win a championship with BMW as they are constantly improving.
