  1. It sure does if I am doing an all-nighter to meet a deadline 2 cans usually goes the trick. You will feel quite tired any way but it will keep you awake.

  2. Yea, it does. I can't sleep when I drink. That's how I know.

    I prefer coffee though.

  3. Red Bull aims to boost mental and physical performance. "Red Bull vitalizes the body and mind", according to the motto of the brand. The high concentration of caffeine, glucose, sucrose, taurine, and glucuronolactone increase metabolism, thus improving the user's concentration, energy, and endurance. However, this jump in metabolism is only recommended for temporary usage. It does not rehydrate like typical sports drinks and has digestibility similar to that of coffee. Therefore, it is recommended to have one serving 30 minutes prior to activity and users are encouraged to replenish with adequate fluids after.

  4. apparently a couple of cups of coffee would have the same effect and is much cheaper.  Pro-plus tabs (from your local store) perk you up but can make you a bit wired - either way, it's not good to s***w with your sleep patterns and your circadian rhythms unless you really have to (shift workers etc) - or Freddy Krueger is terrorising your local neighbourhood.

  5. Go to this site for 5 top drinks to keep you awake.

I have found if i need to keep awake, i buy some Yeastvite tablets from the chemist and believe me i can be up all night, even if i decide to go to bed i can't sleep and they are much healthier.  You don't feel any different, there is no buzz, but you just keep going, my daughter also uses them on my reccomendation and she has found the same thing.

  6. No.  It gives you wiings!!!!

  7. It gives you as much energy as the carbs in the can, however the caffeine keeps you alert and speeds up your reaction times. I think the taurine is a hormone of sorts? Not sure there!

What you are doing though, is encouraging your mind and body to react in a way that it naturally doesn't want to, so you will feel some adverse affects after, but if you are tired anyway, you won't notice as much. It's full of junk though.

5 hours? I get that most nights without needing coffee or red bull!

  8. don't have more than say 3 or 4 in a day, max i would say 5, i did and i felt really rough

it's full of caffine and sugar so yeah a type of energy i guess

  9. No, what it gives you is a high on sugar and caffeine, but that isn't energy.  You could end being very tired but not being able to sleep.

  10. First of all sleeping is really good for you so dont stay up but red bull does give you energy. Once my friend drank for bottles and she stayed up forever! jk

  11. you should try this energy shot called 5 Hour Energy it lasts for 5 hours without feeling tired.

you can probablly find them at phamarcies

  12. no it doesnt and it tastes like ****

  13. Most energy drinks are nothing more than suped up soda. Extra caffeine and sugar. For most people many of the low grade energy drinks that are available in every store you go too, including Red Puke, works fine. They crash afterwards becuase they got a rush of sugar and caffeine.

Some will crash in like 30 minutes, others will be up for 5 hours. We all handle it differently. Some people need caffeine to get going and others it does absolutely nothing for.

There really is no good replacement for sleep but it happens that times come around for all of us that we need to get buy on less for a few days. First make sure you get enough water. Getting enough will increase your motabolism and energy levels by 3%. Caffeine will dehydrate.

Next make sure to get plenty of vitamins cause you will need them for getting less sleep. Espeically B vitamins. This now leads me to my energy drink of choice. The ones that pioneered using B vitamins for energy over 6 years ago. XS Energy. 0 sugar, 0 carbs, 8 calories, 10 great regular flavors and 3 caffeine free ones. And not they are not sold in stores along with the low grade ones that you find there.

  14. probably. thats y they call it an ENERGY DRINK!!!!!!!!

  15. It doesnt work for me, but then neither does coffee..... people always say it gives you that buzz but for me it doesnt seem to do alot

  16. It has alot of caffine, and it will make you stay awake. But if your planning to stay up for the next couple of nights with 5 hours of sleep, you'll need to keep drinking them, because after a few hours of drinking redbull, you start to feel even more sluggish than before. So remember to refuel!

  17. nope it doesn't and its gross.

  18. I have a good idea..... Try a drink like monster it works better and gives u more energy than red bull. Also monster gives u like a cup more than red bull or a pint. I used it alot when i have like big projects to do and alot of homework.

  22. No !!! That's what people who produce it say to make other people buy it but that's not true !!!

  23. yes to both, a massive energy kcick then comes with a downer of tiredness, it normally takes about 2 and a half hours for it to wear off on me and i am a large mass so it may last longer or shorter depending onyour size and your metabolism

  24. no it gives me wings

  25. Well it taste's like dentist's mouth rinse, infact I prefer the dentist's, but you'd probably get the same result with a strong coffee.
