  1. I would hope they would, but unless they are being air freighted or transported alive, the further from the coast you are, the less fresh they will be.

  2. I' too am from country foreign am. Not knowing red lobster best steakhose, nyet, most better

  3. i totaly agree. anyone who has ever ate at a real sea food place would agree as well.

  4. No.  Red Lobster is for people who don't live by the sea and don't know any better.

  5. No.  They can't possibly do that.  I have eaten much better too.

  6. I live in North Jersey.  I just came back from Red Lobster, because those commercials for their specials were really getting to me and I caved in.

I totally prefer the seafood I eat down the shore, most especially Cape May.  But guess what?  Not everything you get at those places is fresh, either.  Fresh frozen maybe, but not necessarily fresh.  I've been to famous seafood houses and had crab legs that were totally tasteless.

Tonight's meal was the Georgia Peach shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops.  For an appetizer I had bacon wrapped scallops, seafood stuffed mushrooms and fried clam strips.

I am a seafood fanatic, by the way.  The shrimp was very tasty and didn't taste as if it had been previously frozen.  It was melt-in-your mouth, actually, and not tough or overcooked at all.  The scallops weren't tough, either, and were succulent and very tasty (even without the bacon).  The clam strips were rather tasteless and a bit tough.  The seafood stuffed mushrooms were surprisingly to die for.

I don't usually do Red Lobster at all.  I usually cook fresh seafood at home, and we do the shore a lot and that's when I really gorge myself.  I would avoid the lobster tails and crab legs there (at Red Lobster), not exactly sure why though.  But, like I said, the commercials really got to me and I couldn't stop myself from going.  All in all it was worth it for me and I wasn't disappointed at all.  In fact, I was quite a bit amazed.

I guess it's a hit-or-miss thing.  Tonight, I hit!  But my next seafood feast pig-out session will probably be down in Cape May, next month!
