Does Reverse Racism exist in Toronto?

I heard the police theorizing that the guy who shot those two white kids in their expensive SUV was probably a black guy who "didn't like rich white kids in his 'hood"...

You should someone just because "they're white and rich"?..even though they didn't do anything to you?

Sounds like reverse racism to me...

ya definitely another thing that is reverse racism is when white poeple give black people more scholarshps than white peopel for collage or they have to have one white person one black person and one hispanic in TV shows. That bothers me and I am definitely not racist.

Reverse racism........that makes no sense.  If someone is racist it means that they have prejudices towards people due to their racial/ethnic make up.  Nowhere in that definition does it say that racism is white towards black, white towards Latino or white towards anyone.  If a black guy doesn't like a white guy because he is white that makes him racist, not a reverse racist.  Now you switch white with black and black with white and that sentence would still be true.  Another extremely stupid comment that I have heard is that black people can not be racist?  You have to be retarded to believe that because ANYONE can be racist.  If you want to talk about racism the UNCF or Morehouse College, Howard University, BET could you imagine an national white/Asian/Latino college?

I would think that racism is racism no matter who's involved. To me, there is no such thing as "reverse racism".

that term really really irritates me. REVERSE RACISM? the very definition of racism is the hate of another race other than your own. so therefore, racism is racism, no such thing as reverse racism. and yes i did understand what you were saying,  i just had to complain for a minuit. i think that this type of thing happens alot more than is discussed. its too easy for people to cry racism if you point anything out about blacks hating whites. and its a subject that will never be solved, too many idiotic whites and blacks that complain and do nothing to change anything. thats just my opinion. i dont think either side is to blame anymore i think that hatered towards each race is equal on both sides.

a lot of times it seems to me anyway, is that black, Latino, whatever minority who aren't well off may think that all white kids are rich and have great lives. this obviously is not the case. i used to get mad when i thought my non US citizen roommate got more money than me freshmen year in college, but you know what she flunked out so even if she did get more money it didnt help her.

and i also have learned in classes that minorities especially blacks are usually in more debt for schooling than most whites (unless of course you count me because im in debt to my eyeballs. so anyway... )

i do believe reverse racism occurs but all it takes is one person to be nice and friendly or give someone a positive experience with the race or people they are "racist" against to change their minds sometimes. i know my nana was not exactly open to her children dating outside whites and my aunts both married minorities one black one Mexican.
