  1. No , I don`t give a toss how he comes across when talking on TV., he`s an all action man, not a talker.

As long as he keeps playing like he is.....Go Richie .youre the man.

  2. Is that a serious question??? Richie only has to be good at 2 things: (1) Leading the All Blacks to victory and (2) Be the best performing forward on the field. If he can do these two things week in and week out then do we really care how good his speech skills are?

  3. This man mountain has just made Lord knows how many tackles, beaten all the other loosies on the paddock to the breakdown, absorbed 80 minutes of intense test rugby as the skipper of his side, lead by example, suffered a bloody nose from over 30 smashes to his face that would leave you dizzy and gasping for air, been trodden on, had a continous heart rate well above anyhting you would imagine for over an hour, sucked in enough air to fill a thousand H2O cannisters and you question his capacity to speak less than 60 seconds after the game ... give us a break!

  4. no schoolmaster he doesnt,is this a test?

  5. The guy is an All Black captain, not a toastmaster.  Maybe you need to follow Robbie to Aussie, therefore raising the average IQ in NZ, and lowering the IQ of Australia.

  6. You try putting your face where he does for 5 minutes let alone 80, and see if you can talk at all, let alone walk, and you might not understand him because he speaks real english, fair dinkam matilda

  7. Rugby ,Playing 80 minutes, more like 50 with all the stoppages.

  8. Who cares. He dosn't sound like a TV journalist or radio host because he is a trained rugby player. They used to say the same about Rachel Hunter but she was nothing other than a d**n proud Kiwi so who really gives a toss.

  9. Who gives a ****.  We all know what the man is saying.  The same was said about Tana Umanga and he didn't give a **** either.  The job of both men was to be leaders of their pack - and they were and are!  End of story.

  10. probably - but i can live with it. i was rapt to see him singing the national anthem - about time!

  11. Get a life.

  12. Its questions like this, that give nz rugby that "goldfish bowl" environment. It doesnt just confirm our obsession of the game in this country, but also the microscopic views people have of the game and our players. Sheesh......Get a life!!!!! Cant blame them for jumping ship..... i know i would, especially if i had no life questions like this aimed at me.

  13. The way he plays, I dont care if he answers questions by blowing God Save the Queen through a whistle up his ****.

  14. He is a rugby player first, and captain for the All Blacks second, and a public speaker way down the line. Yes he could be a better speaker, but I doubt very much he has time to address that issue with the training he endures to be the player he is.

  15. Normally when he is talking on TV he is exhausted as he as been playing a test match! Why dont You play 80 minutes as a test flanker then talk to the nation, and see if youre speaking is perfect?

  16. Perhaps you can enlighten us all with your bag full of "know it all" Gavin? Besides, Richie doesn't have to use "proper english when he answers questions.
