  2. Things like spaghetti sauce that have been completely cooked do not have the germs in them that raw tomatoes might.

    I say "might" because now that the govt has just about killed the fresh tomato industry they are now saying "maybe tomatoes were not really the cause" of that new epidemic. So maybe there never was a tomato problem in the first place.

  4. They pasturize that stuff at over 240 degrees .Its 100 percent safe .Plus as you bake your  Eggplant Parmesian you are killing any organism that could possibly gotten into it .If it makes you feel better boil the sauce first . Almost every living thing on earth dies  at 212 F. Boiling temp
