  1. I'm guessing you are either a Chelsea fan or a Robinho fan. Either way, there are two reasons why he would do this.

    1. Man City is interested in spending loads of money to build their team. There is rumor that they are going to offer upwards to 250 million dollars as a transfer fee to obtain C. Ronaldo from cross city rivals Man U.

    2. Robinho would rather be the start of something spectacular for a middle of the road team instead of another footnote in the history of Chelsea. Sure, he could help Chelsea contend in several cup chases, but he could be immortalized if he leads Man City to a cup of any kind.

  2. Yeah he definatly does. Who would go to such a bad team!

But i guess the other choice was CHELSEA who were just as annoying.

He's dumb for fielding offers from either team!

    Haha cheers Channy!

  3. I think Robihno though about the possible playing time he would get with all the stars already in Chelsea. So I guess he went with Manchester City so he can get more playing time, and a little extra cash only sweetened the deal a little more.

  4. No, it was a very shrewd choice. Chelsea may be in the decline when Abramovic fails to grab the headlines anymore. I suspect he may even get bored and pull out. Where would they be then?

  5. hey, some players are more for the love of the game, some are for the money

zidane was more for the game than money

  6. with a week salary over 300000 pound a week,I think Robinho will not need a counselling

  7. South America footballers will chase the money, because playing for there country is the most important.

  8. I think he made a fair choice with getting better exposure, playing time, goals in Man City rather than in Chelsea. He wants to be productive and I believe Man City is serious with the owners pushing their weight around with the whole world's clubs. It's going to be a good revolution for Man City fans and an exciting future ahead. Also, the money was just ridiculous not to turn it down.

  9. three reasons:

    1) becuase he can actually play 90 mins in man city where as he may not even get to touch the ball in chelsea.

    2) he gets lots of money

    3) he doesn't care which club he joins. and i think he wants to be famous where there isn't too much pressure, i mean where there are n't any other "famous" players under whose shadow he has to be.

  10. According to Pele he does need counseling.

  11. I'd rather be bench warmer at the Bernabeau rather than sit on the bench at Man City. How ridiculous would that be if Robinho runs out of form and u get to see him on the bench when Man City would play a club like Brentford in the League Cup... ha ha ha
