  1. as long as your over 18 they don't check at all. you just can't drink but you can to to the bar with your BF

  2. At some of the clubs they ID, but unless you look like a kid you wont have a problem, but you cant drink. Sorry!

  3. I was 19 when I went on RC... and I could not buy drinks, they ID everytime!... So i had my BF buy me the drinks. You will still have SO much fun though... esp if your with your BF!

  4. Once you are 3 miles offshore, you are in international waters & there is no age limit on alcohol sales.  Also in Mexico the drinking age is 18, so you're good to go.

  5. Yes they check id's, the boat may be in international waters but it goes with the coutry of departure. My 18 year old son wasnt even able to sit at the bar near the casino, let alone drink. When you are at port you can usually drink because they're drinking ages are 18 but its a no go on the ship. Sorry

  6. The legal drinking age on ALL cruise lines is age 21 and over. AND, it does not matter whether you are in international waters, whether you are docked in a foreign port, or that you sailed from a port in Europe or South America. Its 21 all over and the cruise lines do enforce the rule.

The ONLY exception to this rule is if a person under the age of 21 is cruising with a parent the parent can if he/she wants sign a waiver that allows the minor to have beer and/or wine. Otherwise when each person under the legal drinking age boards ship his/her cruise card that is use as the room key and charge card for everything on ship contains a restriction that prohibits that person from purchasing alcoholic beverages.

But you can still go into the lounges and bars where drinks are being served.  You will not be able to pay for alcoholic beverages with your cruise card.  But he can and you can take a sip of his drink.  Have him order a virgin for you (no alcohol) or a soft drink and just share drinks.  You can also go into the casino and gamble as the minimum age for that is 18.  Go figure!!

  7. Your set sail pass has different markings on it to differentiate your age, so if you are under 21 they will know and they do check. The best thing would be to have him buy your drinks.

  8. they'll check your id. just don't drink. drinking puts wholes in your liver anyways.

  9. Your boarding /ships card will show that you are under 21 and you will not be allowed to buy alcoholic drinks.

Just let your boyfriend buy all the alcoholic drinks for you both, at the bars, clubs and dining room.

You can buy the soda's etc:

    Have a great cruise.
