malone...possibly....whitney, NO WAY.  i don't think whitney has the composure needed to play on that stage.  yes i like him (he is after all a penguin) but he is ALWAYS committing penalties, turnovers, and not finishing the important checks.  i can't believe the pens gave him like $24 million.  GO PENS....

Yes, he is a great player for Pittsburg.  He can score and has some grit.

Ryan Whitney, no. Malone, maybe. I love Malone, but he's possibly out of Pittsburgh after this season and will be overpaid by somebody, probably Minnesota. And he ain't bringing Malkin with him.

I agree with what SITH said. He is shadowed by the other amazing players on his team. Their team just has to many good players.

Absolutely.  The US mens team needs to join the 21st century and start putting talented YOUNG Americans on the ice.  I'm so sick of seeing Chelios, Roenick, Guerin, Tkachuk, Modano, etc.  Don't they realize that there are American hockey players under the age of 35?

Whitney had a disappointing year.  Even in the playoffs, he looks like the Pens weakest link at times.
