Does San Francisco France Consulate give Visa same day?

Question

Hi, I am a resident of US but not a citizen, so the website says I need a visa to go to France. So can anyone tell me whether i will get my visa the same day as i applied from San Francisco French Consulate? I am not getting appointment in August and latest is just 3 days before my flight date. So i need to know in advance about the time it will take so as to decide if I still want to take a chance and wait.

it depends of your nationality, but for a visa it must be longer
