Does Sao Paulo and Rio De Janeiro, brazil have huge g*y communities?

If so, is there a g*y nightlife in both cities? I plan on visiting these two cities soon and would like to know if there is. And if there is, which city do you consider to be safer to be openly g*y?

I have been there a couple of time and i don't think it's that big, the g*y comunity, ok there is a lot of transexuel but it's not the same then a g*y comunity, lots of young guys who looks like girls can make a lot of money prostituing and it's not allways because they are g*y...

And girls who add something (you know what i mean) are not a majority and they do it because there is a big problem in Brasil: 7 girls for a guy, make the deduction yourself...

In Germany there is the biggest g*y pride of the world and the biggest g*y comunity and you can be openly g*y in the street nobody will care about you.

About if it's safe to be openly g*y in Sao Paulo or Rio i think so but i am not sure, the brasilian guys are really macho and unpredictable.

Anyway it's not gona be more dangerous because you are g*y, it's a bit dangerous for everybody.

Those two cities are major Brasilian hubs, therefore I would guess there's an equal amount between the two.  From a straight guy point of view, the general consensus from our perspective is that big deal if you're g*y, it means more women for us (seriously that's how we think)  the macho attitude comes to play when 3 things happens:

1) Some like young boys and that will cause trouble

2) In public flirting, touching, kissing.

3) You're in a club(average club not specifically g*y) kiss the guy, and give it to him and them drops the G bomb on him.

Other than that you will be just fine in Brazil, g**s are cool with me, like I said before it = > women to us.

Brazil is a total g*y mecca. Not only do they have the largest g*y pride parade in the world but also if you have a fetish for shemales/trannies than it's like you have died and gone to heaven if you step foot in Brazil. Just ask Ronaldo.
