Does Sarah Palin already have a first failed policy?

She believes in abstinence-only education in schools. Her 17-year old daughter is pregnant out of wedlock. If she's pregnant, she had s*x without protection. She exposed herself to any number of STD's - like AIDS.

So, how do you think the "abstinence-only" teachings are working for you Sarah?

Jane don't feel like you need to drop it, these are the very people who for the  past few month have been posting smears about Obama and his family. Now that they get truth thrown at their face, they want to talk about politics. Frankly most of them only have one base for their choice, McCain  ain't black. And that is good enough for them.

If Obama would had been in her shoes they would had been posting baby daddy jokes.

A child's poor judgment  does not define the parent. Palin is a brilliant woman, but she does have a lot on her plate right now and she may turn out to be more damaging to the Mccain campain now with this pregnancy controversy. The last thing this country needs is for teen pregnancy to be glamorized. Mrs. Palin cannot run this country with 5 children and a grandchild to raise.

If nothing else, Jane, this example sure raises a lot of questions which need to be raised.  It's easy for right wingers to proclaim their family values, their anti-g*y sentiments, etc while confronting their own teenage pregnancy, explaining their solicitation in Men's bathrooms, etc.

Maybe these little "surprises" we keep getting from conservatives will bring out their humility.  A value which they need.  It's easy to fall.  Help the fallen to get up, not act like you're holier than thou.

Typo - I really appreciated the attitude which you tried to convey - it was very reality based..  However, you didn't have to make it sound as if ALL people from the "demographic group" with all of the teenaged pregnancies are that bad.  (It's not what you say but how you say it.  If your intent was to insult me, then I guess you fulfilled your mean-spirited desire...do you really want to hurt me?)

I guess this NEVER happens to Obama supporters. Oh no! Did you say that he is black? Don't they have that highest percentage of teenage pregnancies than any other demographic group? Hey, isn't this also a group that is always promoting s*x education and the promotion of birth control and the right to choose?

Well, I guess if you choose to keep your child and are strong enough to stand up and take the heat, then you parents are total failures as parents and can't do ANYTHING right.
